LIVE-IN CARE
Bonneville Healthcare Service offer an excellent solution for our clients who require continuous care in the comfort of their own homes.
Our trained staff assist individuals with Alzheimer’s or Dementia, those with physical health challenges, those recovering from surgery, or those recently discharged from the hospital.
Our staff provide compassionate care and assistance, attending to your loved ones’ needs. Bonneville ensures that our staff can work 6 or 12-hour shifts to meet their needs around the clock.
COMPANIONSHIP
Living alone can pose significant mental and emotional challenges for the elderly, which can be difficult to overcome. Often, their health conditions limit their ability to drive or travel, making it hard for them to stay connected with friends and family. This can lead to feelings of loneliness and isolation.
Reducing isolation and loneliness through companionship helps to improve cognitive function and promote a sense of purpose and belonging. This also encourages adherence to care plans leading to a better overall quality of life.
Bonneville Healthcare Services Limited believe that your loved ones’ social needs are just as important to address as their health conditions.
Our staff will provide:
* Personal Assistance: first aid, support with continence, personal hygiene, food preparation, meal preparation and assistance.
* Daily Tasks: grocery shopping, housekeeping, cleaning, assistance with paying bills, washing and ironing clothes, mobility.
* Daytime activities: support with mobility, e.g., getting in and out of bed, assisting with the use of appropriate and straightforward equipment, outings to shops, the post office, community and leisure facilities, etc., any other requested services by the individual service users in accordance with our registration.
* Social Interaction: maintaining contact with family and friends, companionship, one to one conversation, support to pursue and maintain hobbies and interests.
HOSPITAL CARE AND SMOOTH TRANSITION HOME:
For patients staying in the hospital, we provide sitter support to provide comfort and companionship. When it’s time to return home, they’re there to ensure a smooth and reassuring transition. We’ll be there to bring you safely from the care facility and offer essential support to ease what can be a stressful time.
The days right after a hospital stay or procedure are often the most critical for recovery. During this period, patients may face adjustments to daily routines, dietary needs, medications, or rehabilitation exercises and may need extra support.
Our staff provide gentle monitoring, helpful and timely reminders, emotional support and encouragement to ensure a safe and successful recovery at home.
